Satrogyl-O Tablet is used in the treatment of diarrhoea and dysentery. It treats diarrhoea of mixed infection in adults.

- Pregnancy interaction:
- Satrogyl-O Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

- Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach pain, Loss of appetite, Dizziness, Headache.
- How to use:
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Satrogyl-O Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

- Satrogyl-O Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Satranidazole and Ofloxacin.tSatranidazole kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Ofloxacin kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

- Q. Can the use of Satrogyl-O Tablet cause dizziness? Yes, the use of Satrogyl-O Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better if you rest for some time and resume once you feel better. Q. Can I take Satrogyl-O Tablet along with Ibuprofen? Few patients have had seizures (fit) on taking anti-inflammatory medicines (ibuprofen) with quinolone antibiotics (ofloxacin). This is very unlikely to happen. But to be safe, do not take ibuprofen with one of these antibiotics, unless your doctor has told you to take it.
