Description:
Chericof Junior Syrup is a medicine used in the treatment of common cold and cough. It can provide quick relief from cough and common cold symptoms like runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and congestion or stuffiness.
Chericof Junior Syrup includes Chlorpheniramine maleate, Phenylephrine and Dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Chlorpheniramine maleate works by preventing the activity of histamine, a chemical responsible for generating allergic reactions. Phenylephrine shrinks the blood vessels in the nasal tube, hence relieving stuffy nose. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide inhibits nerve signal transmission from the cough centre in the brain to the cough muscles. Chericof Junior Syrup, when used together, helps to relieve dry cough.
