Uses / Indications: Paracip 500mg Tablet is used for pain relief and fever. It is used to relieve pain in conditions like headache, joint pain, muscle pain or dental pain.

Taking Paracetamol / Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.

    Pregnancy interaction:
  • Paracip 500mg Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy.Adequate and well-controlled human studies have shown low or no risk.
    Expert advice:
  • Good for pain relief and fever but not effective in joint pain due to poor anti-inflammatory action. Starts working within one hour. Wait for at least 4 hours before taking the next dose. Present in many over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medicines. Avoid taking more than one paracetamol product at a time to prevent overdose. Doses >4 g/day (2 g in alcoholics) may cause liver, kidney or heart problems. Discontinue Paracip and inform your doctor immediately if rash occurs. For children, measure the doses of liquid Paracip using the measuring cup instead of a teaspoon to avoid under or over-dosage. Avoid excess alcohol intake (>3 glasses/day) when taking Paracip as it may cause liver damage.

  • Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Paracip 500mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

  • Paracip 500mg Tablet is a pain reliever (analgesic) and fever reducer (antipyretic). It works by blocking the production of the chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that transmit pain signals and induce fever.

  • Q. What if I vomit after taking Paracip 500 Tablet? If you vomit in less than 30 minutes after having a dose of Paracip 500 Tablet tablets or syrup, take the same dose again. If you vomit more than 30 minutes after a dose of tablets or syrup, you do not need to take another dose, until the next normal dose. Q. When will I feel better after taking Paracip 500 Tablet? Usually you will start feeling better after about half an hour of taking Paracip 500 Tablet. Q. How often can I take Paracip 500 Tablet? You should only take four doses of Paracip 500 Tablet in 24 hours. There should be a gap of at least 4 hours between two doses. Do not take Paracip 500 Tablet for more than 3 days without first talking to your doctor.
