AB-Flo Capsule is used to treat and prevent symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (a lung disorder in which flow of air to the lung is blocked). It helps in relaxing the muscles of the air passages, thus widening it and making it easier to breathe

- Unknown. Human and animal studies are not available. Please consult your doctor.
- Expert advice:
- It is better to take Ab-flo in the evening around 7-8 pm for protection against asthma symptoms throughout the night. Ab-flo will not work for sudden wheezing or asthma attacks once they start. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you. Not as effective as steroid inhalers for asthma. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better. Notify your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with the kidney, liver or heart disease, or have a smoking history. Your dose may need to be adjusted. Taking Ab-flo can reduce the requirement of steroids by 50%.

If you are taking birth control pills, dose of AB-Flo Capsule need to be reduced as birth control pills may interfere with clearance of AB-Flo Capsule, increasing its levels and chances of side effects. Q. How should AB-Flo Capsule be taken? AB-Flo Capsule should be taken strictly as advised by the doctor. To avoid an upset stomach it should be taken with food.
