Description:
Prilox Cream is a combination of two local anaesthetic medications that works to numb the region where it is applied. It is used on normal or unbroken skin to relieve pain before procedures such as needle insertion or wound suturing.
Prilox Cream temporarily numbs the skin and surrounding area. It should be used at the dosage and duration recommended by your doctor. This medication is intended for external use only. Before using this drug, ensure that the affected region is clean and dry. Apply a tiny layer and rub carefully to create a layer of around 2-3mm. After that, use an occlusive dressing to protect the region. Maintain the dressing for at least 2 hours prior to any scheduled therapy or surgery. Avoid getting it in your eyes or mouth. If an accidental exposure occurs, thoroughly rinse with water.

- Prilox Cream is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
